Esperance Project - Science in Motion

The Esperance Project is a collection of fun and inspiring projects for schools which is being run by our team, in collaboration with creative partners and local businesses. We are working with six Cumbrian primary and secondary schools each participating in a unique project rooted in the collection of historic boats and Windermere Jetty museum. The projects are being delivering throughout 2016.

Students from the Lakes School, Windermere have been taking part in the Science in Motion project, challenging them to create a piece of film for the Museum to use with other schools and on our website. We partnered with Signal Film and Media to support the students to learn about film and photography using specialist equipment and interview techniques that have been put into practice to create the short film.

You can read more about what the Lakes School students have been doing as part of the Science in Motion project on our Esperance Project website.
