Blackwell
is situated in the English Lake District, one of the most beautiful
parts of the country and only 3-4 hours train journey (4-5 hours
by car) from London.
Blackwell
is just one and a half miles south of the busy tourist town of Bowness-on-Windermere.
It is a 25 minute drive from junction 36 of the M6. Take the A591
towards Windermere and Bowness.
Once
in Bowness-on-Windermere, follow the blue RAC signs to Blackwell
which is situated just off the A5074 (Lyth Valley Road) on the B5360.
Oxenholme
is the nearest main-line railway station. A further train, bus or
taxi service is available to bring you into Windermere.
