ST
ANDREW'S CHURCHYARD
Coniston. Contains Ruskin’s grave designed by W G Collingwood,
Collingwood's own grave and The Great War Memorial also designed
by Collingwood. Easy Access.
HOLY TRINITY
Built in 1875 the church at Winster has a
window designed by Henry Holiday. There is a small plaque by Harold
Stabler, which commemorates the life of Joseph Holt of Blackwell,
who was killed in the Great War.
ST JAMES’S
Situated in Blake St, Barrow in Furness, it was built 1867-69 by
E. G Paley. Has a Keswick School of Industrial Arts brass repousse
plaque dated 1901. Vicarage. Tel.

ST MARTIN'S
Bowness-on-Windermere. Contains a carving by Dan Gibson and a Simpson
bookcase. Open 10:30-4:30 from 1st April 2007.

Situated in Hawkshead it has a war memorial cross in the churchyard

ST PATRICK'S
Patterdale. Built in 1863, it contains three
beautiful needlework panels by Anne Macbeth. Usually open during

THE RUSKIN MEMORIAL
At Friars Cragg on the shore of Derwent Water, there is a memorial
designed by Collingwood.
