New Craftmaker
Stuart Akroyd, specialises in hot studio glass. Stuart makes several ranges of production glass based on natural forms, and a dislike of symmetry. To create these forms, Stuart adapted the Venetian encalmo technique, whereby pieces are blown twice, thus enabling rhythmic patterns to be incorporated.
